Ok so these hypertension codes are kicking my butt this morning. If I want to code for hypertension malignant without heart failure, previously 402.00, what would I use I have been trying to figure it out and it is directing me to I10 but I do not feel that would be the correct one because when I look for the 401.9 it directs me there as well. Can they fall under the same code for 10?

Please any input would be great!
 
I10 is the best part about ICD-10. That's usually the first one you will memorize for obvious reasons and no more dealing with malignant vs benign.
