how would you code, systolic arterial hypertension
thank you

Arterial hypertension is gonna take you to the usual 401 section.

Hypertension means either the systolic or diastolic number is elevated.
Systolic hypertension means the top BP number was high, while the bottom number was fine.

probably 401.1 unless there are any other issues going on.

Kudos to the doc for being specific. We usually just get "HTN".
