11300 = .5cm or less
11301 = .6 - 1.0cm
What if the lesion is between .5 and .6?
 
I have never seen a provider document a measurement to that degree of specificity (which would require a pretty highly calibrated measuring tool to be that accurate) but if I did, I would just round to the closest tenth of a cm and code it based on that. I think most physicians just use standard rulers which have a mm as the smallest unit.
