Please advise as to how this would be coded. We absolutely should be able to retrieve some of the cost for the procedures and equipment, right?

Should both 25 and 51 modifiers be used? 58340, 74740 is what we use for hsg and 58340, 76831 for sonohyst. Should we also be using 76942 and 76377 (for 3d imaging)...with modifiers.

Please advise. This is done frequently in our infertility clinic...doing hsg and then doing sonohyst.

Thank you!!!

You don't need a 51 modifier and the 25 modifier is placed on visits. We don't use 3-D imaging codes but do use the other codes. Yes, these should be covered by insurance.
