Code 10061 for I&D complicated has a 10 day global period. If during that 10 days the physician does a debridement while repacking the would would you bill the debridement seperate.

Additional procedure

If an additional procedure were documented, Yes, I would code it, even if it fell in the global period for the first surgery. Be care, though. Some procedures ARE considered global ... e.g. suture removal.
