Patient for third set of Orthovisc injections. She had a bit of pain in her left knee of the day of her last injection, resolved. She had some pain with the anesthetic, a bit of pain in the left knee with the injection itself. Indications: Pain & osteoarthritis in both knees. (I coded CPT 20552)-incorrect) Location: Knee R & L; Approach: for injection Superolateral; Medications: 60 mg sodium hyaluronate (Orthovics) I used code J7324 - wrong. ICD-10-CM code = M170 - good. HCPCS.......unable to locate correct code. Indications: Pain and Osteoarthrthritis in both Knees. I have studied, researched using many different codes. Please direct me to the correct Look Up site for this assessment. I have spent many hours without success. Thank you! The title of Document Dissection: Assessment: Osteoarthitis knees.
