Hello....I have a patient who had back surgery last Thursday August 1st.....at one of our hospitals. The family requested that the patient be transferred to a hospital closer to the patient's home which is another one of our hospitals. The PA did an H&P on the patient......my question......I wasn't sure if we could bill anything because one of our PA's would have done a D/C before the patient left.....pt is still in a 90m day post op.... Any idea's??:)
