What Code do you use for I-Pack(Interspace between popliteal artery and capsule of posterior knee). We have used 64450 Many problems with insurance denials. I have had 2 providers tell me that this injections is to capture all the genicular nerve branches so my thought is 64454. Or would you use unspecified code 64999. Would love to get some feedback. thank you
 
Hi there, according to CPT Assistant 6/2020 that injection is a plane block not a nerve block, therefore it should be reported with 64999.
