One of my physicians came up with a wonderful idea for an App for ICD-10 and I wanted to see if anyone knew of anything in the works, because currently in English this is not available.

He asked if there was an app that would allow you to type in the diagnosis in a search field. Then by walking the user through a series of questions it would tell you what documentation was specifically required for that dx. It would essentially work as an EHR. Once the dx was entered a question and drop down would appear. Walking you through required documentation based on situation as well as possible additional dx's and documentation needed.

An easy example would be if they placed nuclear sclerotic cataract in the search field. The question would be which eye. The drop down would have Right, Left, or Bilateral. Once all of the questions are answered the proper ICD-10 code(s) would appear. By answering the questions you would also know what documentation was specifically required.

thanks
