Good morning can I get confirmation on what ICD 10 code to use for Sacroiliac Joint Arthropathy. I was thinking M46.1 but was not sure.
 
I am using M12.88 Other specific arthropathies, not elsewhere classified, other specified site , because a specific disease condition develops in a joint, such as transient, or temporary, arthropathy, not classifiable by any other code. The provider documents the specific joint. Hope it helps
