I am seeking help for an ICD-10 code. I work in the SNF, and code M62.81 is a non-billable code for Medicare. We have many patients who admit s/p infection (such as pneumonia), where the infection is resolved at the hospital but the patient has significant weakness warranting SNF care. Would code G93.39 and/or M62.89 be appropriate?

I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM USING M62.81 WHEN BILLING MEDICARE (SNF BILLING/CODING AS WELL).......
I WOULD RECOMMEND TRYING R53.1 AS WELL
