We have a pt that is going for a 6 mo repeat diagnostic mammo of the right breast because of adnormal findings on her previous one. She is having it done after Oct 1. R92.8 is the code other abnormal and inconclusive findings on diagnostic imaging of breast. However it doesnt give the option of right or left. Is this correct? They are asking for body location,laterality,acuity,manifestations, smoking status etc. That code doesnt give the option to specify what they are asking for.
