Can anyone help me with the ICD-10 code for "cesarean delivery, due to breech presentation, and ligation of the fallopian tubes (sterilization at the request of the patient)???
I have O32.1xx0 for the cesarean delivery, O34.21 for the outcome of the delivery. I am having trouble finding the sterilization code. Any ideas?
 
O34.21 is not the code for the outcome. You need to go back and look again it will be a Z code and the sterilization is a Z code. You also must add a Z3A code. Use your alpha index these are easy to find. Look under outcome then delivery, look under encounter then sterilization
