I am a new coder, just graduated my certificate program, have my CPC-A and am currently studying for my CCS. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me find an answer to this question. Lets say that a patient is admitted to the hospital and receives dialysis 7 times while there. Would only one code for the dialysis be assigned, or would multiple? This was a question that I wanted to ask my instructor before I graduated and it completely slipped my mind!
