Will the Dr. need to use the ICD-10 PCS for his/her inpt procedures? I know CPT will not go away for out pt but there still seems to be some confusion on if his/her coder that codes the doctors portion need to use PCS or is that just the facility? Its understood that the Hosp/Facility will use PCS but will the Dr. need to for their portion (In Pt). Thanks :confused:

No, professional/physician coders will continue to use CPT for procedures. PCS remains strictly for facility.
