When I place my order for icd-10 for 2014 , which starts Oct 1, 2014 , will i need to order 2 books , or when icd-10 comes out oct, 1, 2014 , will it be the 2015 verision.

no way to know this, it is not planned that there will be changes to the current 2013 ICD-10 CM code set, however if they feel a new code is important enough for immediate insertion they will revis the code set for 2014, also in april of 2014 (when they meet to discuss changes) if they feel a change is necessary they can update the 2014 code set for Oct 2014 implementation. There will be no way to make the determination of need for a new book for Oct 1 2014 until around the 1st week of July 2014
