Do we really need to purchase the ICD 9 for 2014? It states that there is a "limited" update, so can we get away with using 2013.
Thanks for any input.
 
There has been no change in the ICD-9 diagnosis volumes 1 and 2 since oct 1 2011. vol 3 however has 4 new procedure codes for 2014, if you code physician or outpatient you only need a 2012 version.
