I am trying look for a code for actively bleeding gastrointestinal vessel anomaly.

I have come up with 747.61 but does this include actively bleeding?
 
Have you looked at 569.85? It comes up angiodysplasia of intestine with hemorrhage or can also be called AVM (arteriovenous malformation). There is a Coding Clinic Third Quarter 1996 page 9 to 10 on this that may help.
