Publicly-funded health plan coder is looking for ICD-9 dx code for asymptomatic patients who need STI screening (e.g. chlamydia, gonorrhea) when the medical justification is that patients live in geographic areas of high prevalence. Code cannot be in the 'Examination(general)(routine)' area of V codes. I appreciate any recommendations.
