Patient had an abdomen x-ray for location of endoscopic camera. Conclusion reads small endoscopic camera present within the right midabdomen.

Any suggestions for a diagnosis?

ICD-9 code for endoscopic camera

This may sound like a stupid question, but....was the endoscopic camera placed intentionally or is it's presence there due to a mechanical problem during a procedure (such as the camera breaking off, etc)?

Just a guess...maybe code for a foreign body? I am assuming the camera didn't expel properly as it should and they were looking where it might be....

The reason I asked the below question before is because IF this is a "mechanical complication" of the endoscopic camera, then you would code the complication.
