This question was put to me today by a coder with more experience then I have so it made me second guess my answer I am hoping someone out there will be able to help out with an answer.
this is related to ICD-9 codes
Doctor writes confusion is the correct code 298.9

or is it 780.97 or maybe neither
Does anyone have the answer and please explain?
