Hi, Can anyone clarify the use of screening codes, specifically Z13.0, Z13.88. or Z11.1? Should the screening ICD 10 code be applied when the provider conducts the screening evaluation (i.e. determining if there is a risk to warrant the test) with no labs ordered vs when the lab/blood test/skin test is actually ordered after the evaluation? Any insights or thoughts appreciated.
