I am trying to bill G45.8 and then I70.92 for 93930. Wellcare is denying stating this is not billed appropriately per ICD 10 manual. I can't see where this is wrong. Can anyone tell me if this is incorrect? I believe they are stating that G45.8 should not be billed primarily.

Hi Marianne

Based oh Noridian LCD for 93930, I70.92 is covered and G45.8 is not. You should be fine by re-sequencing the diagnoses.
