Is medicare the only carrier that states high risk of V16.0 is considered from a sibling, parent, or child?
Also, if the family history isn't from one of those relationships, should be even use the
V16.0 in the coding?
One example in particular is when we bill the G0105. Would be bill the G0105 if the relationship in the history is a distant cousin? Or should be use the G0121 and the V76.51?
Any input would be very helpful and greatly appreciated.
