I just wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything with this report because I feel I might be.
"...A transverse incision was carried out, centered over the prominence of the obvious deep hand abscess located along the distal aspect of the hand and centered over the metacarpophalangeal joint of the long, ring and small fingers. Purulent debris was evacuated and digital debridement to include the entire involved areas, including into the long, ring and small fingers and throughout the dorsum of the hand. Pulse lavage irrigation applied. The metacarpophalangeal joints of the long, ring and small fingers were penetrated and opened and further debridement carried out, irrigation involving all 3 of these joints also..."
