Wiki If doesn't qualify for 9921 can we changed to inpt consult level 1?

If our doctor did an Admit H&P but he did no ROS, can I count this an a level one Inpatient consult? Can you change it even though our physician is the admitting physician?

It wouldn't fit the definition of a consult. Depending on the documentation and the payer, you may be able to charge either the unlisted code or a subsequent visit.
