problem is this. Pt.had ASD closure at outside hosp, then RA part of the device embolized to PA and came to use for retrieval. I can't find a code for a retreival or removal of ASD device. The best I've been able to come up with is 36014 for the cath to the right PA. Does anyone know if I can even bill for the retreival?
 
Can you post acutal report? I know there are some retreival codes under 33967-33983 but I don't think those pertain to your case. I could be wrong. The report might help you get more answers.
 
well-never mind, I finally found it. It's 37203 w.75961. Not sure if I should bill for the cath code also though.... gonna check the cci edits
