I have a question and hopefully someone can shed some light on this situation of how to bill this to the commercial insurance for payment. These two codes as you know are for the peds dose (.5ml), but right now in our area there is a shortage for the adults and my providers have been giving the peds dose equal to adults (1ml). If we bill out the 90633 or 90744 the claims will deny for the not age appropriate. How do you suggest we bill this to the commercial payers. We are aware the NDC numbers are different on the peds dose and the adult does.

Thank you for any help in this matter
