We had a vaccine ready to give to patient after getting consent, however pateint informed that they got that vaccine last year. We confirmed they did receive that vaccine at another office. However, we could not give vaccine to another after it was drawn up. Can we bill this vaccine to patient or is this a cost we have to eat?

You are not allowed to bill a patient for a vaccine that they did not receive, even if the drug is drawed up and ready for administering. It will have to be tossed, and you can not bill the patient's Insurance for this....:D
