One of my doc's did a insertion & removal of Impella, Does anyone know what code to use, the doc gave me 33999 & 33975, not sure if this is correct.

The information I received from Medtronic regarding Impella billing is that we are to bill 33975 for the insertion and 33977 for the removal. However, Medicare CCI edits do have 33977 being bundled into 33975. So we are only billing for the insertion. Hope this helps!
