Hi

Has anyone heard of BCBS (i'm in pennsylvania) determine the payment for anchors/screws only if it is bone to bone contact vs. tissue to bone contact.

My billing dept is telling me they will only pay for knees/shoulders vs. fracture of hands/wrist? Does this sound correct?
