Discussion in our office currently...when we provide anesthesia services for the in-utero procedure of myelomeningocele repair on the fetus (or any fetal surgery in-utero for that matter), shouldn't we be using the ASA code geared toward the mother and not a neuro code for the baby? We are providing anesthesia to her, mom is the patient.
