I'm looking for some guidance on how you can determine if a hernia is truly incarcerated. I have some reports that say that the sac contains incarcerated omentum, but they were able to reduce the hernia, does that mean it's not considered an incarcerated repair?

I'm feeling very hazy on my understanding of this subject, so anyone who can shed some light for me would be my hero for the day! Thanks!
