My Dr is wanting a CPT code for "inching". Think of it as using two fingers together and moving them up an extremity(arm). Anyone have any ideas???

I honestly don't think there is one. If this is something the doctor is doing during an office visit then I would just code the office visit since it would be a component of the exam

If this "inching" is being done during a nerve conduction study you would not be able to bill for this. You can only bill for each nerve stimulated. Refer to Appendix J in CPT.
