Wiki Incident to billing

It states that incident to can ONLY be billed to Medicare, so does this mean we cannot bill incident to to any other insurance? I work at an orthopedic clinic and this would be office visits.

It depends on what the payers guideliens. if they state the follow medicare then you can follow the Medicare rules. Many Blue Cross plans for example, do not accept incident-to.

If a new patient sees a NP and the next month they come back the NP is out of the can they see the physician that dos
