Wiki incident to - does anyone know if genetic counselors

does anyone know if genetic counselors can bill "incident to"? if so, are they limited to certain codes?

Depends on where you are.

I just did a lot of research on this for Michigan. Right now there are only a few states that genetic counselors can be credentialed for Medicare and Medicaid. Michigan is not one of those. In our case genetic counselors can only be billed under a facility charge, not incident to a physician.
