Can you bill incident to with a PsyD as a supervising physician? We have been doing this and NGS is now telling us it does not meet requirements, because CMS does not recognize PsyD as physicians. I am new to BH billing. Our credentialing guru states that is correct. The billing company states that is incorrect and this is acceptable to bill.

I was given this link by NGS.

But it makes it about as clear as mud for me. Please help. The PsyD providers are supervising therapists and social workers.
