If a provider orders a Complete Metabolic Panel CPT 80053 and we are unable to complete one of the tests in the panel, because of clotted blood, not enough blood collected or wrong tube used, etc., are we able to bill all of the other CPT codes individually for the labs within the panel that we were able to perform? Even though the provider ordered a CMP?
