Hi,
My pathology report of Bone marrow aspirate states "Increased storage of iron". Is there any dx for this. Please suggest me.

Excessive storage of iron

You may check ICD-9 275.01 to 275.03 & 275.09. These codes describe disorders of mineral metabolism, like exessive accumulation of iron. Excessive accumulation of iron in the blood, I think is what they call Hemochromatosis. It can be genetic or a secondary effect of a disease process. i hope this will help.
