If physician performs in office procedure, specifically a fiber laryngoscopy to see if anything is stuck in the throat, would this be given 2 points?
 
With ED coding, we do not count the independent visualization if the service will be billed. For instance, we do not give the 2 points for the EKG interpretation when 93010 is billed by the ED provider.
