I just discovered that a group of physicians that go to other cities in this area have never notified payors of these various locations (offices they share with other providers). They simply report the place of service as being their main office. I can't find any reference to this specific issue. I don't see how you can practice medicine at various locations without reporting it on the claim. This is not related to a facility vs. office; they are all offices, just different counties and cities. Help!

We have several physicians that practice occasionally from satellite locations; we bill the claim with the satellite address in box 32 of the claim form, and with our main office address in box 33. I'll try to find references to this info for you if you still need it.
