Would I use 996.59 for infected abdominal wall mesh? It was found to be intraluminal causing a small bowel obstruction and needed to be removed...

I am thinking that you should be using 996.69 since the infection caused a SBO therefore indicating that the infection is within the patient. 996.59 is for use when the impanted device fails or is rejected.
