Hi, I am coding B95.62 for MRSA infection with left arm abscess. The book says MRSA is a supplementary code. What would it be supplementary to? I used the abscess as primary, but I failed my audit saying that bacteremia, R78.81 should be primary. That just seems redundant to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
