Inflamation Of Toenails. Icd-9cm ?

I don't think a toenail gets inflammed - I think the toe itself does...is it due to an ingrown nail?

I'm going to put inflamation of subcutaneous tissues.

but the notes states inflamation of an toenail. She also states the nail is fine. No ingrown toenail. The patient came in complaining of a ingrown toe nail. But when the peds physician looked at it, she said it was fine. Just an inflamation of toenail.
