Anyone from new england.....are you getting paid for the influenza tests 87804??? Just trying to see what the payment rate is for these and if you get paid for two tests(a&b):d thanks

We have tried billing each seperate and only once but payment is the same.

This appears to be one of those things that varies from carrier to carrier. The insurance companies typically don't like to tell you what you need to do to get paid, so we experimented and found that some carriers want the 87804 (for a&b) billed at 2 units. Others prefer the code listed twice with modifier 59 appended to the second. And some will pay only one regardless. Good luck!
