I have a case with 2 inguinal hernias, one of which is incarcerated with intestine and the other which is not. They are the same side. Both are repaired through the same incision, repaired with one large piece of mesh.
Do I apply the 550.90 and the 550.10 (an adult) and also the repair of 49505 and the 49507 since the one was incarcerated and the other was not? Thank you.

cci edits show bundled but modifier allowed. so it is a seperate and distinct hernia. I would bill both with a 59 and match the diagnosis to the procedure.
