Wiki Initial injections

Hi there everyone,

I am having a debate about coding IVPs in OBSV bed. I have always coded 96374 for the initial IVP and then either 96376 for the same med or 96375 for initial IVP of different med throughout the whole stay. Another coder is doing it a little bit differently. She is coding 96374 for each day the patient is in OBSB bed. Could someone help me find the documentation on which is the correct way to code it?

As per the Medicare Claims Processing Manual Chapter 4, Section 230.2

Only one initial drug administration service is to be reported per vascular access site per encounter, including during an encounter where observation services span more than one calendar day.
