One of our Providers recently took over as the Medical Director of a local Nursing facility. Since this is the 1st time for him to see these patients does it count as an Initial or is it a Subsequent since they are not a new patient to the facility?

Since the pt is already established at the Nursing Home, it is a subsequent visit. The other codes are for admission to Nursing Homes
