Wiki Initial observ visit and follow up obs

My doc admitted the pt to observaton and wants to code as 99220. He followed up the next day and discharges her. Is there a code for the follow-up visit that led to him discharging her? Plus, he spent one and one-half hour with her at the follow-up visit. I am thinking 99215, but not sure. What do you think?

I would use the 99217 as this is the D/C from observation code.
