I have a pt. that presented to one of our eye providers and was looking for eye lid sx. After a long discussion the pt. had fillers 2 years ago and the provider was thinking there was a possibility, not knowing what was injected that a Vitrase injection might be an option. I have included a couple lines from the chart note to show reason and injection sight. I just don't know what injection code to use.

Bilateral lower eyelid edema of unclear etiology.
- DDx: filler-induced Tyndall like effect, although it has been 2 years since filler injection, and don`t know which product was injected. Also must consider blepharochalasis syndrome, systemic allergy syndrome.
- Recommend trial of hyaluronidase injection before proceeding with extensive systemic workup for other rarer causes of this edema.

-Skin of lower lids cleaned with EtOH pads. Pt. tolerated injections of Vitrase (0.5 cc) in each lower eyelid with immediate reduction of edema and rubbery filler texture. No complications.

Any help is appreciated.
